Yan took a Post-Doc position at the University of Michigan. He was interested in developing software for statistical methods and extending the application of statistical models in different fields. He developed the templates of multiple event websites, including the UCSAS, Statathon, and the webinar series on Data Science in Action in Response to COVID-19.
